A strong earthquake of 7.3 magnitude struck Moro Gulf, Mindanao, Philippines on Saturday morning local time, the United States Geological Survey reported on its website.
The quake occurred at 6:08 a.m. local time on Saturday (2208 GMT Friday) and the epicenter, at a depth of 603.8 km, is 105 km away from Cotabato, Mindanao and 915 km away from the capital Manila, according to the USGS, whose earlier reports of the quake level were 7.1 magnitude and 6.9 magnitude, Xinhua reported.
