Rosaviatsia confirms that the situation in Moscow airports Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo and Domodedovo, having problems with smog, is normal, RIA Novosti reported.
Earlier on Monday, the airport spokesmen told RIA Novosti that Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo and Domodedovo operate in normal mode. Almost all flights are made on schedule. There is no flight delay at Sheremetyevo airport. There are small delays in flights at Domodedovo and Vnukovo, but they are not associated with smog, but with the arrival of aircrafts.
"The situation is normal. Visibility is sufficient for departures and landings of aircrafts without any delay", representative of Rosaviation said.
According to the agency, the visibility at the airport "Domodedovo" is 5,000 meters, at "Vnukovo" - 3,600 meters, "Sheremetyevo" - 1,900 meters.
Many flights were made at alternate aerodromes in Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg, Ulyanovsk, Voronezh, and Sheremetyevo Airport. There were problems with departure of aircrafts. The situation was normal at night.
"Rosaviatsia" previously reported that despite the haze, the biggest number of passengers - 104.440 people were transported last Sunday.
