Bosnia charges Serb soldiers with genocide for Srebrenica killings
A Bosnian court on Friday said that it has brought genocide charges against four people for their alleged participation in the Srebrenica massacre 15 years ago, dpa reported.
All four were members of the Bosnian Serb army and were charged for carrying out executions in Srebrenica after the Muslim enclave fell to Serb forces in July 1995.
They are held responsible for killing at least 800 Bosnian Muslim boys and men at a farm some 50 kilometres away from Srebrenica.
Serbs rounded up all males aged 16-65 after they marched into the enclave, which was under the protection of United Nations, and executed around 8,000 of them.
Three of the defendants were arrested in February and the fourth in April.
