Three Indian UN peacekeepers have been stabbed to death in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo), media reported on Wednesday.
The report said the three were hacked by suspected rebels with knives and machetes rather than firearms, who broke into the camp in Kirumba, about 140 km north of Goma, capital of the Nord-Kivu province. Another three people were seriously injured, Xinhua reported.
The victims were all from the UN mission MONUSCO, it added.
No further details was available so far.
