The September 2010 Plenary Meeting of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) Central Committee was held on Tuesday, and released an official report including several results of important elections, KCNA, the official news agency of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), reported on Wednesday.
According to the KCNA, Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the WPK and chairman of the WPK Central Military Commission, attended the meeting, Xinhua reported.
Members and alternate members of the WPK Central Committee and members of the WPK Central Auditing Commission elected at the just- concluded WPK Conference also joined the meeting.
The meeting elected the WPK Central Committee's Political Bureau and its Presidium, as well as the WPK's Central Military Commission, said the report.
