A UN aid helicopter delivering supplies to flood- raved areas of Pakistan for the World Food Programme made a forced landing Friday, injuring several workers, dpa reported.
A five-member Russian crew, four Pakistani passengers, a Sudanese passenger and two Australians were onboard during the accident in southern Sindh province. No one was killed.
A nearby Pakistani military unit rescued those on board and transported the injured to a nearby Chinese military hospital.
A UN spokesman said the incident was being investigated, but was likely caused by technical problems.
