Two Trains collided in Petarukan town of Central Java early Saturday, killing at least 35 people and injuring dozens others, said a press official at hospital, Xinhua reported.
  
One person was also killed and four others were injured in a separate train accident in Solo of Central Java on the day, Ita Dwi Indriani, a press official at DR Azhari General Hospital in Pemalang district told Xinhua by phone from the hospital.
  
Train Argo Bromo Anggrek collided with train Bisnis Senja Jaya at about 03:00 a.m. local time Saturday in Petarukan town of Pemalang district, rescuer at Search and Rescue Office in West Java Rindang Krisnoputro told Xinhua by phone from West Java.
  
"The latest data of fatalities now reach 35 people and 13, seriously injured, were being treated in the hospital" Ita Dwi Indriani said.
  
In addition, there are still 17 more seriously injured people, with 15 being treated in Santa Maria Hospital and two in Rumah Sakit Islam Hospital.
  
The in Petarukan town was caused by the violation of schedules by train Argo Bromo, he said.

The number  of victims was expected to rise as the rescuer still could not evacuate passengers being trapped in a carriage, he said.  "There are some people inside the coach, the rescuers still could not enter it until now, they could have been dead or suffer from serious wounds," he said. 
  
Indonesian Health Minister visited Central Java to see the condition of the victims and the ministry has sent one team of surgeons from nearby district to help treat those injured, head of crisis center of the ministry Mujiharto told Xinhua by phone.
