Austrian oil and gas firm OMV on Wednesday said the fatal shooting at its office in Yemen was not politically motivated.
A guard shot dead a Frenchman and seriously injured a British citizen working for the company, OMV said, DPA reported.
"OMV currently sees no political background for the action taken by the Yemeni security guard," the company said in a brief statement.
