A 5.9-magnitude earthquake shook Costa Rica early on Saturday, but no damages or injures have been reported so far, RIA Novosti reported according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
According to the USGS, the epicenter of the quake was located 41 kilometers (26 miles) northwest of the capital, San Jose, at the depth of 98 km (61 miles).
There are no tsunami warnings issued for the Pacific.
Last year, a 6.1-magnitude quake in central Costa Rica killed at least 20 people.
