The third of 33 trapped Chilean miners was rescued on Wednesday after staying underground for 69 days.
The rescue of Juan Illanes came after those of Florencio Avalos and Mario Sepulveda, Xinhua reported.
After getting to surface and walking out of the capsule that lifted him up from some 700 meters down, Illanes, 52, was hugged immediately by his wife, and Chilean President Sebastian Pinera.
