A Russian citizen was killed in Nepal when a boat he was travelling in capsized Thursday, authorities said, DPA reported.
Police said Russian tourist Dek Alek drowned in Tamor River in Taplejung district in eastern Nepal.
Two out of the convoy of five boats overturned, survivor Manish Rai said, throwing Alek and 11 Nepalese passengers into the water.
The Nepalis swam to safety. Alek's body was discovered two kilometres downstream.
