One person has been killed and 100 others injured in a fire which occurred in a crude oil pipeline in Pakkoku, Myanmars' Magway region Sunday evening, official sources said Monday, Xinhua reported.
The fire took place at an oil pipeline connecting Thagyitaung oil field and Ayahtaw oil field at 7:30 p.m. (local time) due to lighting of match, the sources said.
The injured, including many who helped put out the fire, have been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, the sources added.
