The Taliban claim that they have killed at least 17 US soldiers and wounded nine others in the Sabri city of the southeastern Khost province in Afghanistan, Press TV reported.
However, the US army announced that only six of its soldiers were wounded as a result of attacks by Taliban in the Khost province.
According to US-led NATO's media office, a series of bombs went off injuring six US soldiers when they were searching a house in Sabri.
