Afghan President Hamid Karzai condemned the joint military operation conducted by servicemen of Russia and the United States in Nangarhar province.

Karzai said that the operation was carried out without coordination with the local armed forces, the Afghani Presidential Administration told Trend.

According to the report, Karzai ordered for the Interior Ministry and the Defence Ministry to give full information to the president about the operation.

Russia and the U.S. for the first time in the history held a joint anti-drug operation in Afghanistan, destroying four laboratories for the production of drugs. The total damage to drug dealers is more than $ 1 billion. About 200 million doses could be prepared with the seized heroin, RIA Novosti reported.

At present, about 90 percent of drugs in the world are produced in Afghanistan.
