British premier David Cameron on Saturday said that a bomb parcel from Yemen had landed in Germany before being transferred to a Britain-bound flight en route to the United States, dpa reported.
"It just shows how united and determined we have to be to defeat terrorism," he said prior to a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The television channel Sky News reported that the package had been unloaded in Cologne and transferred to a plane bound for East Midlands airport near Nottingham, where it was found on Friday.
