DiCaprio in New York emergency landing
Actor Leonardo DiCaprio handled a real-life drama with the calm you would expect from a Hollywood leading man, when the plane he was flying on was forced to make an emergency landing at New York's JFK International Airport, UsMagazine.com reported Monday.
DiCaprio, 36, was on a commercial flight to Moscow Sunday to attend a tiger conservation summit when one of the Boeing's engines shut down forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing, dpa reported.
DiCaprio "wishes to commend the actions of the pilot and flight crew in bringing the plane to a safe landing," his representative said.
Another source revealed that DiCaprio signed autographs for all the crew members when they landed.
