Edin Dzeko's transfer to Manchester City moved a step closer on Thursday as he passed a medical, dpa reported.
The Bosnia striker has agreed personal terms, after City agreed a 27-million-pound (41.8-million-dollar) fee with Wolfsburg, but is awaiting a work permit.
It seems highly unlikely his deal will be completed in time for him to make his debut in the FA Cup against Leicester City on Sunday.
