UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon offered his sincerest condolences to the people of Belarus and, in particular, to the families of the victims. He wished those injured a speedy recovery, BelTA has learnt with reference to the UN News Service.
"Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon expressed sadness after an explosion at a station in the metro system of Minsk on 11 April that killed at least 11 people and injured dozens of others," runs the official statement of the UN Head.
