Former News of the World editor and aide of Prime Minister David Cameron, Andy Coulson, has been arrested on suspicion of corruption and phone-hacking, Scotland Yard said Friday, DPA reported.
The 43-year-old had denied knowing about the phone-hacking practices at the News of the World. Its owner, Australian press magnate Rupert Murdoch, announced the closure of the newspaper, which will publish its last edition on Sunday.
