Norway attacks suspect appears in open court hearing
The man accused of killing 77 people in shooting and bombing attacks in Norway in July appeared in court on Monday for a remand hearing, DPA reported.
The 45-minute session at the Oslo district court was the first open custody hearing since July for Anders Behring Breivik. Several hundred people followed proceedings at the court.
His attorney Geir Lippestad told reporters that he welcomed the open hearing and was pleased it had been conducted in a "dignified" manner.
The ruling on the custody terms was due around 1 pm (1200 GMT). The judge interrupted Breivik when he tried to give a longer statement during the hearing.
