Wounded British journalist Paul Conroy has arrived at a Beirut hospital after being smuggled out of Syria, activists in northern Lebanon told dpa Tuesday.
Conroy was injured in the attack that killed fellow foreign correspondent Marie Colvin and a French journalist in Homs last week.
"Conroy was smuggled at midnight into northern Lebanon and taken to the American Hospital of Beirut," Abu Mohammed, a Syrian activist based in northern Lebanon said.
