Former News International Chief Executive Rebekah Brooks was among six people arrested Tuesday in connection with Britain's long-running phone-hacking scandal, News International confirmed, DPA reported.
Brookes' husband Charlie was also among those detained, on suspicion of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, during a raid earlier in the day.
