Norway on Monday closed its embassy in Damascus until further notice due to "security concerns" in Syria, Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Store said, dpa reported.
A Norwegian diplomat would however remain in Syria and be attached to the Danish embassy that is continuing to operate, the foreign minister added.
