Ukraine on Tuesday cancelled a long-awaited regional political conference in its Black Sea resort city Yalta, because most of the European heads of state scheduled to attend the gathering cancelled because of concerns over jailed ex-Premier Yulia Tymoshenko, DPA reported.
The conference was being rescheduled, said Oleksandr Dikusarov, a Ukraine Foreign Ministry spokesman, according to Interfax.
