An Afghan policeman shot dead at least 11 of his colleagues in a police station on Saturday in western Afghanistan, dpa reported according to officials.
The attack took place in Delaram district of Nimroz province in western Afghanistan. The gunman was also killed when other police returned fire.
"We have sent an investigation delegation to the area," said Colonel Abdullah, the criminal investigation officer at the Nimroz police headquarters.
An Afghan official told local media that the policeman was a Taliban infiltrator.
