The Oslo District Court has declared terrorist Anders Breivik, accused of terrorism and killing of 77 people as being sane and sentenced him for 21 years of imprisonment, RIA Novosti reported.

The Oslo District Court has declared terrorist Anders Breivik, accused of terrorism and killing of 77 people as being sane and sentenced him for 21 years of imprisonment, RIA Novosti reported.

Breivik detonated a bomb in the government quarter of the Norwegian capital, which killed eight people on July 22 last year and then opened fire at a youth camp of the Norwegian Labour Party on Utoya Island, killing 69 people.

Breivik will be held in Ila prison where he has spent more than a year of detention. Special conditions will be created for keeping the dangerous criminal. After the term of sentence expires, the court will be able to prolong it, if it is found that Breivik poses a danger to the society.
