The Norwegian Nobel Committee's decision on selecting the 2012 Nobel Peace Prize winner was "unanimous," the committee chairman said Friday amid speculation the prize would be awarded to the European Union, dpa reported.
"The only thing I can say is that it was a unanimous decision and that it was not very difficult to reach," Thorbjorn Jagland was quoted as telling the Aftenposten daily.
