Greek Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras on Wednesday said the country had been granted a two-year extension to meet the terms of its international bailout programme, DPA reported.

The government has been locked in talks with the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) over a 13.5-billion-euro (17.4-billion-dollar) package of austerity measures for the next two years.
