A bomb blast in Kabul on Wednesday apparently targeted an Afghan intelligence office, an official said, dpa reported.
"There was an explosion in Sedarat Square and we are gathering information," Seddiq Seddiqi, the Interior Ministry spokesman, said.
"Initial reports indicate it was a car bomb," he told dpa.
Local Tolonews television reported that the explosion took place outside the main gate of the headquarters of the National Directorate of Security, Afghanistan's intelligence agency.
