Russian president: Iran’s outgoing counterpart may attend gas summit in Moscow
Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed willingness to discuss the Iranian nuclear issue with outgoing president of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who may visit Moscow on July 1-2 to attend the gas summit, RIA Novosti reported.
"I hope that it will be possible to continue discussions with the Iranian leadership in the near future," the Russian President said. "I think that the Iranian outgoing president may soon visit Moscow to attend the gas summit. Of course, we will discuss this topic."
