UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon condemned the suicide attack in Mali that killed and injured a number of UN peacekeepers and civilians, a spokesman for Ban said Wednesday, dpa reported.
"The secretary general offers his condolences to the families of the fallen peacekeepers and wishes a swift recovery to those wounded," UN spokesman Martin Nesirky said.
Ban said that the attack will not deter the United Nates from continuing to work on restoring peace and security in Mali.
