Earthquake jolts north-east region of Japan

The earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale hit Tokachi Oki region of Japan at 10:05 JST (01:05 GMT) on September 29, the Japan Meteorological Agency reported Monday.
The earthquake epicenter was at a depth of 70 kilometers.
This earthquake poses no tsunami risk.
