France's Total Oil Concern will continue moving forward after the death of its CEO Christophe de Margerie, RIA Novosti quoted the company's Secretary General Jean-Jacques Guilbaud as saying on Oct.21.
"A group has been created to ensure a proper and continuous management in order to adequately respond in this tragic situation," Agence France-Presse quoted Guilbaud as saying.
Christophe de Margerie was killed during the take off from Moscow's Vnukovo-3 airport on the night of Oct.21.
His plane crashed into the snow removal vehicle run by a drunk driver, according to preliminary data, Russian investigative committee said.
Three crew members were killed together with de Margerie.
Russian investigative committee said the accident happened because of a mistake by the air traffic control and the actions of the snowplow driver. Bad weather conditions and the possibility of a mistake by the pilot are also considered. A criminal investigation has been launched.
