Several media outlets reported that explosions and shooting erupted near the printing house where the brothers Said and Sheriff Kuashi are keeping the hostage, RIA Novosti reported.
The brothers are suspected of attacking the Charlie Hebdo office.
Clouds of smoke are observed at the scene in the city of Dammartin-en-Goele, Reuters reported.
