Woman restrained on British Airways flight after trying to open exit door
After attempting to open an emergency exit, a female passenger on board a Boston-bound flight from London's Heathrow was restrained, Sputnik reported.
The plane landed at Boston's Logan International Airport at 1:30 PM, and British Airways staff described the woman as abusive and unruly. The 30-year-old was taken into custody by Massachusetts State Police, who said the woman was intoxicated.
Authorities say there was no known connection to terrorism.
Tensions are running high only four days after the attacks on Paris which left 129 people dead and hundreds more injured.
