Russia to firmly react to Su-24 incident

Russia will firmly react to the incident with the Russian Su-24 warplane shot down by Turkey Nov. 24, Konstantin Kosachev, the chairman of the Federation Council committee on international affairs, said, RIA Novosti reported.
"There is a reason to believe that this tragic incident with the Russian plane is not a chance," he told Russia 24 TV channel. "Of course, the Russian side must firmly react in the near future."
"This reaction may affect the tourism sector and the economic relations," he said.
"It is necessary to weigh all the pros and cons in such large projects of bilateral cooperation, as nuclear power engineering, energy sector, construction of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline because these projects meet the mutual interests," he said.
The Turkish Air Force shot down the Russian military planes SU-24 in its airspace Nov. 24.
Both pilots managed to eject and the plane crashed on the territory of Syria.
