The United States and its allies targeted Islamic State militants in Iraq with 17 strikes on Friday and five in Syria, the U.S. military said on Saturday, Reuters reported.
Four of the strikes in Iraq were near Ar Rutbah, hitting an Islamic State tactical unit and staging facility.
In Syria, four strikes hit four Islamic State tactical units near Mar'a.
