Russia and the US may soon announce an agreement on Syria, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Bloomberg, RIA Novosti reported Sept. 2.
"We are gradually moving in the right direction,” President Putin said in an interview with Bloomberg. “I do not exclude that we will be able to agree on something in the near future and submit our agreements to the international community."
President Putin also stressed that US Secretary of State John Kerry did a tremendous job on Syria’s problems.
“Russia and Turkey seek to achieve agreements on Syria,” President Putin added.
