Ukraine, Russia sign Space Cooperation Program for 2007-2011

Ukraine, Russia signed the Program for cooperation in use and study of space scheduled for years 2007-2011, Trend reports with reference to the Ukrainian governments portal.

The Internet source writes the relevant document has been signed by heads of space agencies Yuri Alekseev and Antoly Perminov.

Trends special correspondent reports the program has been developed with account for priorities of Russias Federal Space program 2006-2015 and Ukraines State Space program project 2007-2011, including 9 subprojects.

The joint work will be compensated from both the budgets and non-budgetary sources. Specific projects are implemented based on joint decisions by Ukraines National Space Agency and Roskosmos, and their list is coordinated by the parties on annual basis.
