Ukraine Rada decides To Keep Working Until a new Cabinet of Ministers Is Formed

(Ukranews) - The Verkhovna Rada has decided to continue with its first session until a new Cabinet of Ministers is appointed.

The decision was favored by 245 lawmakers, given the 226 votes required for its passage Rada will close the first session on the day the new government takes office.

The day's and plenary meeting's agenda of the Verkhovna Rada will be decided at an evening meeting proceeding the regular plenary meeting, reports Trend.

A corresponding bill was tabled by Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Moroz on July 28 and registered under No.1204.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada approved its calendar plan for the second session on July 27.

The second session is scheduled to open on September 5 and close on January 12.

Rada closed its first session on Friday, July 28.

The first session was opened by Rada of the new convocation on May 25.
