(ITAR-TASS) -- Party of Regions Viktor Yanukovich said the Universal of National Unity would be signed on Tuesday.
Speaking after a meeting with President Viktor Yushchenko on Monday, Yanukovich saud a working group starts working immediately to resolve disputable issues in the document, reports Trend.
Yushchenko and Yanukovich discussed a number of issues related to the resolution of the political crisis, including the party leaders nomination for premiership, a presidential secretariat official said earlier.
Prior to the meeting, Yanukovich told journalists that irrespective of the format of the future coalition it would have to take into account the presidents plan of action.
At the same time, speaking on the Universal of National Unity, Yanukovich stressed that his party would not make any compromises on some of the issues, such as Ukraines accession to NATO, and the Russian language.
The only solution to these questions may be only a referendum. Politicians must stop fanning the situation, he said.
