Ukraine`s Prime-Minister Viktor Yanukovich considers the deficit of State Budget 2007 at the level of 2 percent out of Ukraine`s GDP as quite acceptable, the Prime Minister himself has stated that during the sitting of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers being held today, Trend Correspondent to Kiev reports.
We need the deficit (of the budget Trend) at the level of 2 percent, said Mr. Yanukovich.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian Statement 2007 put forward by the Government of Mr. Yanukovich, the deficit of the budget were expected to be at the level of 2.55% out of Ukraine`s GDP, or 15.1 b. Hryvnias. (approx. 3 b. USD).
The planned deficit of this year`s budget has been approved at the level of 2.58% out of GDP.
