(ForUm) Victor Yushchenko told reporters in Kharkiv he will ensure that funds are provided for programs aimed at developing Ukraine's culture and language in 2007, president's press office reported.
The budget part on culture will not suffer in 2007, he promised.
The President added that the government had been funding about two hundred cultural programs, mainly regional projects, for the past two years. He said he had also recently issued a decree to renew traditional art in Ukraine, reports Trend.
