(ForUm) - The firing of Ukraine's foreign minister will not affect relations between Moscow and Kiev, the Russian foreign minister said Saturday, RIA Novosti reported.
In response to the question whether the dismissal of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk would affect Russian-Ukrainian relations, Sergei Lavrov said: "The plans for our relations with Ukraine are on course, and we are confident that they will be fulfilled."
As a reminder, on December 1 Ukraine's parliamentarians backed the governmental resolution on dismissal of Borys Tarasyuk from the post of Foreign Minister of Ukraine by 244 votes, reports Trend.
