(ForUm) - President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko decreed to prepare visit of Vladimir Putin to Kyiv, scheduled fro December 22, reports Trend.
The decree charges departments and ministries with a job of analytical inquiring about Russian-Ukrainian relations and working out of theses to be voiced at the meeting with Putin.
In particular, Yushchenko's Secretariat has inquired Foreign Ministry about Putin's biography, informational and analytical materials on cooperation with Russia, including problematic issues of bilateral relations.
Yushchenko also decreed to prepare fro signing a declaration on meaning of Russian-Ukrainian strategic partnership and Ukraine-Russia Action Plan for 2007-08.
The Ukrainian side hopes for signing readmission agreement with Russia in the course of Putin's visit to Kyiv.
It is also expected to introduce amendments into Ukraine-Russia Agreement on check points through Russian-Ukrainian border.
