Ukraine's prime minister insists on Tarasyuk's dismissal

(ForUm) - Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych insists on carrying out the decision of the Verkhovna Rada on dismissal of Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk. Yanukovych told journalists after the meeting with the President.

At the same time he evaded the question whether the President agrees with him on this issue, but only said he discussed this case with Yushchenko. I told the President my point of view as regards Tarasyuk, the Premier said, reports Trend.

Yanukovych also refused to answer the question what was the reaction of the Head of the state on his position as regards Tarasyuk. Ask another question…Aren't you interested in anything else, he said.

The PM informed that next week candidatures for the posts of Foreign Minister and Defense Minister will be considered. Yanukovych assured that the coalition and the government will determined their positions on these issues till the end of the year.
