Yushchenko puts an end to Ukraine's accession into the WTO

(ForUm) - The President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko promised at today's press conference to sign the last bill on Ukraine's accession into the WTO, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada, within some days.

Yushchenko noted that it will put an end to work on accession into the World Trade Organization, then only procedure questions concerning free trade zone remain to be solved, reports Trend.

The Head of the State stressed that Ukraine's objective is membership in the EU.

Yushchenko also noted that he had done everything possible and necessary for adoption of the WTO bills.

He welcomes that the Parliament has passed 22 WTO, 16 of which were submitted by the President.

The Head of the Government underlined that Ukraine's accession into the WTO is obligatory condition to join the EU.
