(ForUm) - Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych believes that decentralization of power is one of the working mechanisms for fighting corruption in the system of public administration, Cabinet press office reported.
As the Head of Government noted, budget funds directed at the immediate region would make the use of funds more efficient as well as prevent plundering of these funds and avoiding illegal schemes which exist at the level of central authorities.
According to the Prime Minister, the Government intends to control the use of budget funds in every Ministry, reports Trend.
We watch every penny and when the officials get these funds they invent schemes for plundering. This is really a complicated problem. The more funds in the regions the less temptation for officials to plunder the budget," Viktor Yanukovych stressed.
