Ukraine offered Korea to help with nuclear disarmament

(ForUm) - Ukraine offers its nuclear disarmament experience for crisis regulation on Korean peninsular. Viktor Yushchenko told at the Korean University in Seoul.

According to Yushchenko, Ukraine and Korea stand for unswerving regime compliance of nonproliferation of nuclear weapon, reports Trend.

We stick to joint position concerning crisis regulation on Korean peninsular, the President said, adding that Ukraine is really troubled with conducting nuclear tests in Korean people's democratic republic.

According to Yushchenko, the Ukrainian experience is possible to be used for regulation of this problem. The President reminded that Ukraine is the only state which voluntary refused from nuclear weapon, having signed memorandum on security guarantees. In this way it is possible to solve the current problem on the Korean peninsular.
