(ForUm) - Japanese Ambassador to Ukraine Mutsuo Mabuchi presented a grant for purchasing diagnosis and rehabilitation equipment to a kindergarten for children with sight and hearing problems, having delivered it to Odesa Governor Ivan Plachkov, Cabinet press office reported.
During the meeting the parties discussed cooperation between the Odesa region and the Japanese government. As Plachkov noted, topical directions of such cooperation could be the development of transport infrastructure, ports, agriculture and regional industries.
The meeting also dealt with the region's tourist capabilities, reports Trend.
Plachkov invited Mutsuo Mabuchi and Japanese business people to visit Odesa during the VII international specialized symposium exhibition "Wine and wine-making" slated for early February.
